Job Description

An opportunity for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist is available in Dunnellon, FL, offering a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. This contract position requires a skilled professional capable of scrubbing in on Cath Lab cases, including complex procedures involving Impella devices and Balloon Pumps. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience and hold a current RCIS or ARRT license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist with Cath Lab procedures, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
  • Scrub in on cases requiring specialized devices such as Impella and Balloon Pumps.
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure smooth procedure flow.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Cath Lab setting.
  • Active RCIS or ARRT certification is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in scrubbing procedures involving advanced cardiovascular devices.
  • Ability to manage on-call responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (7:30 am to 6:00 pm).
  • 1-2 overnight call shifts per week.
  • One weekend of on-call duties every 5 weeks.
  • Overtime requires prior approval.
