Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time schedule (details provided during the interview process)
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology
- Valid ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Active state licensure (if applicable)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum one year of experience in a Cath Lab environment
- Strong knowledge of imaging techniques, cardiac anatomy, and interventional procedures
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Adaptability to changing patient needs and technologies
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging and monitoring equipment within the cardiac catheterization lab
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide immediate response to emergent situations
- Ensure patient safety through strict adherence to infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records, imaging data, and procedural documentation
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for optimal patient care
- Participate in the maintenance, calibration, and quality assurance of laboratory equipment
