This 13-week assignment provides an exceptional chance to practice advanced procedures in cardiac cath and electrophysiology. Youll collaborate with a dynamic care team, gaining invaluable exposure to a variety of structural heart cases, medical device implantations, and emergency interventions. Each day builds your expertise and broadens your clinical acumen, all while learning new leadership and workplace practices that make your resume stand out.
Schedule
- MondayFriday, 10-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- On Call: 10-14 days per schedule (including weekends/holidays)
- Weekends not regularly scheduled, but weekend call required
Qualifications
- Associate of Science degree or completion of a Cardiovascular Tech program
- Minimum one year recent experience in procedural areas: Cath, IR, EP (circulating/scrubbing)
- Proficient with Impella
- Experience with structural heart interventions (TAVR, Watchman/Amulet, PFO, Mitral Clip)
- Medical device implants: PPM, IABP, ICDs, ablation procedures
- Licensed: ARRT(R) and Texas CMRT required
- BLS and ACLS issued by AHA
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption (required prior to orientation)
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, skilled care during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
- Assist with cardiac, vascular, and interventional cases, including emergencies
- Operate and maintain EPIQ ultrasound and related equipment
- Diligently document procedures using Epic (training provided)
