You'll collaborate with a knowledgeable and supportive staff, access new technologyincluding GE Innova and Impella systemsand gain exposure to advanced procedures such as TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, and more. This immersive assignment will enhance your resume with new techniques, diverse case experience, and insights into different leadership and care delivery models.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- STEMI call coverage approximately 1012 days per month
- Self-scheduling for flexibility
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Demonstrated Cath Lab experience, including exposure to Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR
- Advanced skills in PCI, PFO closures, Impella, and IABP procedures
- Experience with documentation systems such as MacLab and Meditech
- Ability to float within department (EP and Stress Lab as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with a range of interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures
- Operate specialized equipment (GE Innova, Impella)
- Document procedures accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care
- Respond promptly to STEMI calls and other emergent situations
- Uphold patient experience standards and hospital guidelines
