Job Description

Step into a vital role within a dynamic cardiac catheterization laboratory, supporting patients and clinical staff through expert imaging services. This contract-based opportunity offers hands-on experience with advanced cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time hours
  • Flexible scheduling may be available depending on facility needs

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ARRT or RCIS certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with a strong background in imaging
  • Proficiency with vascular, cardiac, and electrophysiology imaging techniques
  • Familiarity with current imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to strict safety protocols
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and calibrate imaging equipment during diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures
  • Prepare patients and assist physicians throughout cardiac cath lab procedures
  • Monitor and document patient vitals, room setup, and procedural activities
  • Ensure radiation safety standards are followed for patients and staff
  • Maintain accurate imaging records and supply inventory
  • Contribute to emergency care situations, demonstrating composure under pressure
  • Support the cath lab team with post-procedure care and recovery monitoring
