This travel position offers a chance to collaborate with a leading cardiac team, broadening your expertise in catheterization lab technology. Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Additional call coverage as part of the rotation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures within the cath lab
- Prepare and maintain specialized equipment, ensuring protocols for safety and sterility are followed
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, communicating with the clinical team efficiently
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and procedural data
- Adhere to the latest standards in imaging technology and patient care
- Respond promptly to emergency situations while on call
Qualifications:
- Active certification in cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology (RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech in a cardiac catheterization lab
- Proficiency with imaging equipment and cardiovascular procedures
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in fast-paced environments
