Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to support imaging studies in a dynamic cardiac care environment. This role requires strong critical thinking and the ability to work closely with Cardiologists and Imaging Services leadership to ensure accurate, timely diagnostic procedures. This position is based in Cuero, TX, offering a focused schedule and professional setting where your expertise in cardiac imaging will be valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing and monitoring cardiac catheterization imaging studies.
  • Operate cath lab imaging equipment in compliance with procedural protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with Cardiologists and Imaging team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate technical records and contribute to patient safety and quality assurance.
  • Adhere to sterile field and infection control standards in the lab.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems such as MEDHOST and MACLAB.
  • Ability to provide 1:1 patient care ratio during procedures.
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify.

Schedule:

  • Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • On-call duties every other week for 7 days.
  • No 48-hour shifts or block scheduling.
  • Maximum of 3 days required for return to office (RTO).
