An opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to support cardiac catheterization procedures in a busy cardiac cath lab setting. This role offers consistent weekday hours with an on-call and holiday rotation commitment, providing a robust work-life balance within a collaborative healthcare team.

Location Details: Situated in Crown Point, Indiana, this position is based at a well-equipped cardiac catheterization laboratory serving both inpatient and outpatient populations. The lab is set within a facility that features a 2-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:1, ideal for focused and specialized cardiac care. The practice uses advanced cath lab equipment and EMR systems, including EPIC Cupid, ensuring technology-supported patient management.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (four 10-hour days)
• 40 hours guaranteed weekly
• On-call and holiday coverage required
• Possible float to nearby Munster cath lab

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with accuracy and adherence to protocols
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety standards
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff in a high-acuity environment
• Document procedure details accurately in the electronic medical records system
• Participate in orientation and complete required education modules prior to start date

Qualifications:

• Valid Radiologic Technologist State Licensure
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification current
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab environment
• Comfortable with both emergent and routine cardiac patients
• Strong team orientation and adaptability
