Seeking a skilled imaging professional with Cath Lab expertise for a contract opportunity. This role supports a busy cardiac catheterization unit and is ideal for candidates who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The focus will be on delivering high-quality care to both inpatient and outpatient populations, including emergent cases.
Schedule:
- Choose from two available shifts: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM, or four 10-hour days, 7:00 AM5:30 PM
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- On-call rotation, including weekends and holiday coverage
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Tech
- Valid Radiologic Technologist state license
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- Ability to float between cath labs if needed
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- EKG test completion required upon submission
Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiac catheterizations and a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Care for both scheduled and emergent patients, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
- Operate and troubleshoot cath lab-specific imaging equipment
- Adhere to established protocols and all safety regulations
- Document procedures and patient information in the EMR (Epic Cupid)
- Participate in required orientation and complete any assigned educational modules before the first shift
