Job Description

Bring your advanced imaging abilities to a pivotal role supporting a highly specialized Cath Lab team. This contract opportunity calls for an experienced technologist skilled in scrub, monitoring, and circulating responsibilities for complex interventional procedures.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
  • On-call duties 1-2 days per week and approximately every 3rd weekend

Key Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in operating GE C-arm and Mac Lab technologies
  • Active ARRT certification required
  • OBMI licensure mandatory
  • Demonstrated experience with high-risk cardiac interventions including PCI, TAVR, as well as hybrid vascular and interventional radiology procedures
  • Proven ability to effectively scrub, monitor, and circulate in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization environment
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing clinical scenarios and remain composed under pressure

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the Cath Lab, including high-risk and hybrid cases
  • Set up, calibrate, and utilize advanced imaging equipment such as GE C-arm and Mac Lab systems
  • Perform scrubbing for complex cardiovascular interventions
  • Monitor patients and operate equipment during procedures to ensure safety and accuracy
  • Circulate for various cases as needed, providing anticipatory support to clinical teams
  • Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly and effectively to emergent cases
  • Accurately document procedure details and maintain clear communication with multidisciplinary care teams
