As an Imaging Cath Lab Tech, youll contribute directly to life-saving procedures, broadening your clinical expertise while expanding your resume with hands-on experience in interventional cardiology and vascular procedures. Required Qualifications and Experience:
- ARRT certification and current state licensure (as applicable)
- Prior experience scrubbing and circulating interventional cardiac catheterizations and invasive vascular procedures
- Proficiency in supplies and devices used for coronary/peripheral angiography, angioplasty, thrombectomy, and stenting
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an adaptable approach
- Willingness to participate in STEMI call as scheduled
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting physicians during cardiac catheterizations and other invasive vascular/interventional radiology procedures
- Managing all aspects of imaging equipment and ensuring accurate image acquisition
- Maintaining a sterile field and adhering to rigorous safety protocols
- Circulating and scrubbing as needed, demonstrating expert knowledge of procedure flow and instruments
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Adhering to documentation and quality assurance requirements
