Job Description

Seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Imaging for a contract opportunity as a Cath Lab Tech. This role requires a strong background in cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology
  • Current ARRT or RCIS certification
  • State licensure (if required)
  • Recent experience as a Cath Lab Tech, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting
  • Advanced knowledge of imaging equipment and sterile technique
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

  • Contract position with varying shifts as determined by facility needs

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment during procedures
  • Prepare patients and sterile fields, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
  • Monitor patient status, vital signs, and respond to emergent situations
  • Document all procedures accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure all equipment is operational
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other allied health professionals
  • Provide compassionate support to patients and families throughout the procedure
