Job Description
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support a dynamic imaging team in a fast-paced cardiovascular setting. This assignment spans 13 weeks, offering excellent exposure in a collaborative environment where advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures are performed daily. You'll play an integral role in supporting physicians and patients, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care throughout each procedure.
Schedule:
- Shift: 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week plus on-call
- On-call requirement: 1-2 nights per week
- Weekend coverage every 3rd weekend, from Friday 5 PM through Monday 7 AM
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab Tech experience
- Certification required: At least one of the followingRCIS or ARRT (CV)
- Expertise in operating cath lab equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong procedural and patient care skills within a cardiovascular setting
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging and cath lab equipment
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Monitor patient status and provide updates to the care team
- Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance with all regulatory standards
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
