Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with at least two years of experience to support a busy cardiac catheterization laboratory. This contract position offers a full-time schedule with engaging responsibilities in a dynamic clinical environment.

Location: Clermont, FL

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment used during invasive cardiac procedures
  • Assist cardiologists in performing diagnostic and interventional catheterizations
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
  • Ensure all equipment is sterilized and functioning properly
  • Respond promptly during on-call shifts to support emergency cases

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Certification in RCIS or Cardiovascular-Registered Technologist (CERT-ARRT-CV) required
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and imaging protocols
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure clinical settings
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills

Schedule:

  • Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Call required 1-2 nights per week
  • Every third weekend coverage starting Friday 5 PM through Monday 7 AM
