Join an advanced Cardiac Cath Lab team as a skilled Imaging Cath Lab Technician in Cicero, IL, supporting complex cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a well-equipped unit featuring 4 procedure rooms and 15 prep/recovery bays, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio to ensure quality care. Scrubs are provided onsite for your convenience.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience with a strong background in Electrophysiology (EP)
- Proficient in handling pacemakers and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICDs)
- Knowledgeable in scrubbing and assisting physicians with structural heart, complex coronary, peripheral, and EP procedures
- Previous travel experience preferred for adaptability
- Active Illinois state license (IEMA), Basic Life Support (BLS), and ARRT certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification and EPIC experience are highly preferred but not mandatory
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist physicians during a wide range of interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain sterile field and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready and functioning
- Monitor patient condition and respond to the needs of the care team promptly
- Collaborate with nursing and technical staff to optimize patient outcomes
