Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Tech to support imaging services in a dynamic clinical environment. This contract role is designed for professionals who are proficient in catheterization laboratory procedures and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 13-week contract beginning 6/15
  • On-call rotation: 1 weekend every 6 weeks and 1 weekday on-call per week

Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT & IEMA licenses required
  • CPR certification required
  • Proven experience with GE imaging equipment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in starting IVs
  • Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech highly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Operate GE imaging equipment to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Prepare patients and the environment for safe and efficient procedures
  • Initiate IV lines and ensure proper patient monitoring throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the cath lab
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care
  • Respond promptly to call-back requirements, both during scheduled shifts and assigned on-call periods
  • Uphold strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
