This opportunity is for an experienced Imaging - Cath Lab Tech to support critical cardiac procedures in a travel assignment located in Buford, GA. Candidates with a minimum of two years experience in interventional or diagnostic cardiology imaging, specifically within the Cath Lab setting, will find this role well suited to their skills.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience in interventional/diagnostic specialty
- Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited Technology program (CVT/Radiology)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCISE) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (AART) certification
- Proficient in a wide range of procedures: Left and Right Heart Cath, High Risk PCI, Pacemakers, Peripheral Procedures, Structural Heart interventions, EMCO, EKOS
Location: Position is based in Buford, GA, a city known for its welcoming community and convenient access to Atlantas metropolitan amenities. Buford offers a blend of suburban calm and vibrant cultural attractions, making it a great place for work and leisure.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform all cardiac catheterization procedures in the Cath Lab
- Ensure patient safety and provide technical expertise during Left/Right Heart Cath, PCI, pacemaker insertions, peripheral and structural heart procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of patient care
