In this position, youll work in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab, gaining hands-on experience with leading-edge cardiac procedures including catheterizations, structural heart interventions, and peripheral procedures. This fast-paced role is ideal for those who want to challenge themselves while building a resume that reflects expertise in both standard and advanced cath lab techniques.
Schedule/Hours:
- Primary shift: 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM
- Varying start times between 7:00 AM and 7:30 PM
Qualifications:
- ARRT(R) certification required
- NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Labs
- Demonstrated experience scrubbing and providing first assist on adult procedures
- EPIC proficiency
- Interventional Radiography experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub and first assist in a variety of cardiac catheterization and structural heart procedures
- Maintain technical excellence while adapting to shifting caseloads and procedure complexity
- Accurately document using EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with cardiology and nursing teams to ensure best practices in patient care
- Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times
