This travel position offers Cath Lab Tech professionals access to a teaching hospital environment, broadening your expertise through exposure to a diverse patient population and innovative clinical methodologies. Schedule/Hours:
- Orientation dates throughout the year to fit your availability (on select Fridays and Mondays each month).
Required Qualifications:
- Current certification and registration as a Cath Lab Tech
- Minimum of one year of recent Cath Lab experience, preferably in a hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and sterile techniques
- BLS and ACLS certifications (as applicable)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate sophisticated imaging and catheterization equipment
- Assist physicians during cardiac and vascular procedures
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition during procedures
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
- Accurately document all procedures; maintain detailed records
