Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Tech with strong imaging skills to contribute to a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position is ideal for a professional ready to deliver high-quality imaging support in a cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technology program
  • Current ARRT or equivalent Cath Lab certification required
  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proven experience operating imaging equipment in a Cath Lab setting
  • Strong understanding of sterile technique and patient safety protocols
  • Adept at working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment for various cardiac and vascular procedures
  • Assist physicians throughout diagnostic and interventional processes, ensuring accurate imaging
  • Monitor patient status and vital signs during procedures, responding rapidly to changes
  • Document imaging and procedural details accurately in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements
  • Maintain equipment, ensuring readiness and compliance with safety standards
  • Adhere strictly to infection control, radiation safety, and other clinical policies
