Key Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program
- Active certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated experience in Cath Lab imaging, including angiographic procedures, stent placements, and electrophysiology studies
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, C-arm fluoroscopy, and contrast media
- Excellent patient communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and other interventional procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and provide immediate response to any changes
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records
- Ensure inventory, sterilization, and maintenance of all lab equipment and supplies
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection control standards
- Support team members by providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment
