Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent in vascular/interventional imaging
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech or in interventional imaging
- Excellent knowledge of angiographic imaging equipment, safety precautions, and sterile techniques
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging and monitoring equipment during cardiac catheterizations and other procedures
- Assure adherence to proper radiation safety practices for patients and staff
- Assist physicians with preparation for diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Monitor patient status, relay critical data, and assist with post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate records, input patient data, and document findings as required
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, regulatory standards, and infection control policies
