A skilled Imaging - Cath Lab Tech is needed to provide exceptional patient care and technical expertise in a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced knowledge of imaging procedures, work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images to assist in the treatment of cardiovascular conditions.

Qualifications:

• Certification or associate degree in radiologic technology, cardiovascular technology, or a closely related field
• Current ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Active BLS and ACLS certification
• Experience operating imaging equipment in a Cath Lab setting
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique and radiation safety protocols
• Skill in monitoring patients during invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Previous Cath Lab experience strongly preferred

Schedule:

• Typical shifts are 8 or 12hours; specific scheduling details to be confirmed during the interview process
• Weekend or on-call coverage may be required, depending on facility needs

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Operate imaging equipment to produce real-time, high-quality diagnostic images
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and responses throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and maintain patient records according to regulations
• Ensure all equipment is functioning and compliant with safety standards
• Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with restocking as needed
• Uphold infection control protocols and a safe environment for both patients and staff
