Job Description
This role offers a unique opportunity to work as a Cath Lab Tech specializing in Electrophysiology (EP) with a focus on Stimming procedures. The position is a contract assignment based in Arvada, CO, in a well-established hospital with 480 beds and 4 cath labs. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in Cath Lab technologies and EP procedures, specifically Stimming, and holds RCIS certification.
Location:
Situated in Arvada, Colorado, this facility is part of a vibrant metropolitan area combining suburban comfort with proximity to city amenities. Arvada offers scenic open spaces, parks, and a welcoming community atmosphere, making it an attractive place to live and work.
Schedule/Hours:
- 6:30 AM 4:00 PM, 4 nine-hour shifts per week
- Rotating weekends (1-2 weekends in a 6-week schedule)
- Call duty 1-2 nights per week in a 6-week schedule
- Day shift focus with no call if Stimming experience is present
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required
- Proven electrophysiology experience, specifically in Stimming procedures
- Experience with advanced Cath Lab equipment such as Philips, GE, Carto, and Ensite
- Familiarity with Meditech and GE Mac Lab EMRs preferable
- Flexible personality with adaptability to rotating schedules and call shifts
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology studies including LHC/PCI, TAVR, and EP study ablations
- Operate and troubleshoot complex Cath Lab equipment and maintain safety standards
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
- Monitor patient responses and document procedures accurately in EMRs
