Step into a dynamic Imaging - Cath Lab Tech opportunity and contribute your expertise in a state-of-the-art cath and EP lab setting. This contract position offers the chance to work with advanced technologies while supporting high-quality patient care within a 221-bed acute care hospital renowned for its comprehensive cardiovascular services.
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM 4:30 PM
- On-call rotation; may include late stays
- Flexible scheduling options: 4x10 or 5x8-hour days
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT or RCIS certification, or eligibility to obtain within 3 years of hire (if not Rad Technologist with ARRT)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with two or more of the following cath and EP lab skills: circulating, scrubbing, monitoring
- Proficiency in cath and electrophysiology procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, PCI, peripheral interventions, Impella, and balloon pump
- Advanced knowledge of equipment: GE Flouro, Mac Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, Angiojet, Penumbra
- Ability to document effectively in Mac Lab and MediTech systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality imaging and technical support for all cardiovascular procedures
- Fulfill circulating, scrubbing, or monitoring roles as required for both cath and EP labs
- Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, experience, and outcomes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, techs, and support staff
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours procedures
- May float to holding, EP lab, or other relevant units as needed
