Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as an experienced Cath Lab Tech, where your expertise in imaging and interventional procedures will make a critical difference in patient care. This 13-week assignment is ideal for professionals skilled in assisting with cardiac catheterizations and other complex vascular imaging cases.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shift: 6:30 am 5:00 pm
  • 40 hours per week, with additional call
  • On-call: 12 nights per week
  • Weekend call every 3rd weekend, beginning Friday 5:00 pm through Monday 7:00 am

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Certification required: RCIS, or CERT-ARRT-CV (must hold at least one)
  • Proficiency with cardiovascular imaging equipment and sterile technique
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in urgent care settings
  • Ability to manage call and respond quickly to emergent cases

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment to assist with cardiac catheterizations and other diagnostic/therapeutic procedures
  • Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab, ensuring a sterile environment and readiness of all instruments
  • Support physicians during procedures by handling devices, monitoring patient status, and recording accurate data
  • Adhere to safety protocols and compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Communicate clearly with physicians, team members, and patients for optimal care coordination
