Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Cath Lab imaging required
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent (current credentialing)
  • Proficiency with fluoroscopic and digital imaging equipment
  • Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and radiation safety practices
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced settings
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time contract assignment
  • Flexible scheduling may be available depending on department needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate advanced imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures and interventions
  • Ensure patient safety and maintain high standards of infection control and quality assurance
  • Assist physicians and support staff by capturing clear, accurate images during diagnostic and therapeutic cases
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in accordance with departmental policies
  • Prepare imaging rooms and calibrate equipment prior to procedures
  • Respond promptly to emergencies in the Cath Lab, assisting with code situations as required
  • Educate patients and family members about imaging procedures, addressing concerns and questions
