Job Description

Step into an impactful role supporting advanced cardiac care in a dynamic cardiac catheterization laboratory. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering exceptional imaging services alongside an expert interdisciplinary team dedicated to optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule/Hours:

  • On-call coverage required

Qualifications:

  • Active certifications in ACLS and BLS
  • Proven experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory
  • CVL Tech certification required
  • EP (Electrophysiology) experience highly desirable
  • Preferred credentials: CVT, RCIS, or RT
  • Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, independently-driven environment
  • Proficiency in using Meditech and MacLab systems
  • Flexibility and adaptability to varying clinical demands

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support cardiac imaging processes and assist with procedures such as cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, and interventional radiology
  • Collaborate with unit staff including techs and secretaries in a technologically advanced lab
  • Operate and maintain specialized cath lab equipment and supplies
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation within Meditech and MacLab
  • Provide expert care with a focus on 1:1 patient-to-staff ratios
  • Respond to emergency call-ins per departmental requirement
  • Maintain a high standard of infection control and procedural sterility using surgical scrubs (provided on site)
