Key Qualifications:

• Current certification in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology
• Experience with Cath Lab imaging modalities and procedures
• Knowledge of sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital systems
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (or eligible to obtain prior to start)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to adapt to fast-paced situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Assist physicians and healthcare team members during catheterization and other cardiac procedures
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, procedure data, and maintain accurate records
• Ensure adherence to all hospital policies regarding safety, infection control, and confidentiality
• Maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment within the cath lab
• Support patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure, providing clear instructions and reassurance as needed
• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to stay current with best practices and new technology
