Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Current certification in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology
- Experience with Cath Lab imaging modalities and procedures
- Knowledge of sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital systems
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (or eligible to obtain prior to start)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to adapt to fast-paced situations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Assist physicians and healthcare team members during catheterization and other cardiac procedures
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, procedure data, and maintain accurate records
- Ensure adherence to all hospital policies regarding safety, infection control, and confidentiality
- Maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment within the cath lab
- Support patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure, providing clear instructions and reassurance as needed
- Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to stay current with best practices and new technology
