Take the next step in your imaging career with an opportunity in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab. This contract position supports a dedicated team serving a five-room lab specializing in a variety of advanced cardiac procedures. The environment fosters close collaboration among techs and unit secretaries, with a 1:1 patient ratio ensuring focused care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active certification as a CVL Tech
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Prior Cath Lab experience (EP experience strongly preferred)
- One or more of the following credentials: CVT, RCIS, or RT
- Proficiency working with Cath Lab equipment and supplies
- Experience with Meditech and MacLab documentation systems
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced unit and work independently
- Previous travel experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of procedures including cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology (EP) studies, and interventional radiology (IR) cases
- Ensure accurate use and maintenance of Cath Lab equipment
- Maintain precise patient documentation within Meditech and MacLab
- Respond to call requirements according to unit protocol
- Collaborate with techs, unit secretaries, and physicians for coordinated patient care
- Uphold patient safety and confidentiality at all times
