This contract opportunity allows dedicated professionals to use advanced imaging technology, work with collaborative medical teams, and assist in a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or in a similar imaging role within a catheterization laboratory
- ARRT or RCIS certification highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology studies, and interventional technologies
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, digital angiography, and related systems
- Familiarity with sterile technique and infection control practices
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position with shifts that may include weekdays, evenings, or call as required by patient volume
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate a variety of imaging devices to capture real-time and diagnostic images during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide ongoing assessments during procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of procedures and outcomes
- Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and protect patients and staff
- Assist in inventory management of Cath Lab supplies and equipment
