Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position with defined work shifts
• Flexible scheduling may be considered based on department needs

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent is required
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures and imaging equipment
• Proficiency in monitoring, assisting, and operating specialized imaging technology
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and sterile techniques
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all members of the healthcare team

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the cath lab suite and equipment for both routine and emergent procedures
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placements, and related interventions
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain clear and accurate diagnostic images
• Monitor patient vital signs and electrocardiogram during procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and quality assurance standards
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Provide pre- and post-procedural care instructions to patients as directed
