Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment specific to the Cath Lab, ensuring optimal image quality and safety.
  • Provide technical support to physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
  • Prepare patients for Cath Lab procedures, including positioning and explaining processes.
  • Adhere to all radiation safety and infection control protocols to guarantee both staff and patient safety.
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records, complying with current healthcare regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management and the setup/breakdown of equipment used during procedures.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and adapt quickly to changing patient or procedural needs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in a hospital cardiac catheterization laboratory or similar advanced imaging setting.
  • Current imaging certification (such as ARRT or RCIS) with relevant state licensure.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating Cath Lab imaging equipment and understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to work effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to high standards for patient care, safety, and confidentiality.
