As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you will provide holistic, end-of-life nursing care within patients homes, nursing facilities, and assisted living settings. Working in a contract arrangement, you will ensure each individual receives comfort, dignity, and support tailored to their needs.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 13-week contract
• Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Occasional weekend or on-call rotation as needed

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of practice, in good standing
• At least one year of recent hospice experience required
• Proficiency with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) electronic documentation
• Knowledge of pain management, end-of-life care, and holistic family support
• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
• Reliable transportation with valid drivers license and auto insurance
• BSN preferred; experience in palliative care and Medicare hospice documentation is a plus
• Compassion, empathy, and emotional resilience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough nursing assessments and develop individualized hospice plans of care
• Deliver skilled nursing visits focused on symptom management, comfort, and quality of life
• Administer medications and interventions according to orders and protocols
• Educate families and caregivers on hospice processes, comfort measures, and symptom management
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate documentation using HCHB
• Participate in team meetings and continuous quality improvement activities

$1,779 - $1,882/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
