This position will enhance your professional development by providing exposure to diverse patient needsfrom geriatrics to adults recovering post-stroke or post-joint replacement. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including RNs and PTs, and experience a variety of leadership styles and workplace practices that are invaluable for expanding your skills and growing your resume.
Schedule:
- MondayFriday, approximately 07:4516:00
- No weekend, on-call, or holiday shifts
Key Duties:
- Manage a caseload averaging six home health patients daily throughout Kenosha and Racine Counties
- Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and implement individualized treatment focusing on ADLs, adaptive equipment, and patient safety in the home environment
- Participate in daily morning team huddles via phone with interdisciplinary team members
- Use EPIC EMR (training provided during a comprehensive first-week orientation)
Qualifications:
- Wisconsin OT license and BLS certification required
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy (or higher)
- Minimum three years of OT experience (SNF, home health, or acute care), with strong preference for prior home health
- Active drivers license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
