This per diem opportunity is designed for Nurse Practitioners who value flexibility and autonomy, offering impactful interactions with Medicare Advantage plan members across locations such as Reno, Sun Valley, and Spanish Springs.

Schedule:

• Flexible shifts are available Monday through Sunday
• Design your own schedule
• Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment, tailored to your availability

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete annual home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members
• Review and evaluate patients prior and current medical histories, as well as their medication regimens
• Educate patients about their conditions, medications, and preventive health strategies
• Identify gaps in care and recommend appropriate next steps for resolution
• Conduct thorough visits that last approximately 45 minutes eachfocused solely on assessment, with no requirement for creating treatment plans or prescribing medications

Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner License in Nevada
• CPR certification (BLS required)
• Board Certification through AANP or ANCC
• MSN degree from an accredited nursing program
• At least 6 months of current experience as an NP (preferred)
