Step into a pivotal home health role, performing comprehensive risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members. As an experienced Nurse Practitioner, you will visit patients in their homes throughout Washington and surrounding communities in Beaufort County. This is a per diem opportunity with unmatched flexibility: build your own schedule and set your availability between Monday and Sunday, with the option for weekly or bi-weekly commitment.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts offered daily, Monday through Sunday
- Create your own schedule to fit your availability
- Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment required
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete annual home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage beneficiaries
- Evaluate patients prior and current medical history, medical conditions, and medication regimens
- Educate patients on health conditions and medication management
- Identify gaps in care and make recommendations to address those gaps
- No requirement for developing treatment plans or prescribing medications
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina
- Board Certification through AANP or ANCC
- MSN degree from an accredited nursing program
- Valid CPR certification (BLS)
- At least 6 months of recent Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
This opportunity includes compensation of $80-$90 per completed evaluation. In addition to the per evaluation pay, a mileage stipend and compensation for administrative time are provided.
