Job Description

Elevate your clinical expertise with a highly flexible per diem opportunity focused on home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members. As a licensed and board-certified Nurse Practitioner, youll play a crucial role in improving patient outcomes through in-home evaluations in Vinita and various communities within Craig County, OK, such as Ketchum, Welch, and White Oak.

Schedule:

  • Flexible shifts available any day, Monday through Sunday
  • Customize your own schedule
  • Minimum commitment required, either weekly or bi-weekly

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members, with visits averaging about 45 minutes each
  • Assess prior and current medical histories, medical conditions, and medication regimens
  • Provide education to patients about health conditions and proper medication usage
  • Identify potential gaps in care and offer actionable recommendations
  • No responsibility for developing treatment plans or prescribing medications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma
  • Board Certification through AANP or ANCC
  • Valid CPR certification (BLS)
  • MSN from an accredited nursing school
  • At least 6 months recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred

Offered Benefits: Successful applicants will receive $80$90 per evaluation, plus a mileage stipend and compensation for administrative time. This per diem position offers outstanding professional independence and competitive earnings for each completed assessment.
