Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Nurse Practitioners with a passion for delivering personalized healthcare in a home environment. This per diem role focuses on conducting risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members within Jackson County, including areas such as Newport, Tuckerman, and Diaz. The flexibility offered allows you to tailor your work schedule to best fit your lifestyle and meet ongoing commitments.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available between Monday and Sunday
- Choose your own workdays
- Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive annual and post-discharge home health risk assessments
- Evaluate patients medical histories, existing conditions, and medication usage
- Educate patients on diagnoses, conditions, and recommended medications
- Identify gaps in care and provide actionable recommendations
- No requirement to create treatment plans or prescribe medications
Candidate Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
- Board certified through AANP or ANCC
- Current CPR certification (BLS)
- At least six months of recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
Additional Details & Compensation:
For each evaluation, compensation ranges from $80 to $90, with a mileage stipend and additional remuneration for administrative time related to each assessment.
