Job Description
As a Nurse Practitioner specializing in home health, you'll conduct comprehensive risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members residing in Ouachita County, AR. These visitsranging from annual health assessments to post-discharge evaluationseach take approximately 45 minutes and may occur in locations including Camden, Stephens, and Bearden. This per diem opportunity allows for high-impact work while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Self-scheduling to fit your availability
- Minimum commitment on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform annual home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage health plan members in their homes
- Review and evaluate medical history, current health conditions, and medication records
- Educate patients about their medical conditions and treatments
- Identify gaps in care and suggest recommendations to resolve them
- No requirement for developing treatment plans or prescribing medications
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas (AR)
- Current CPR certification (BLS)
- Board Certification through AANP or ANCC
- At least 6 months of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
This per diem position offers compensation of $80-$90 per completed evaluation. Mileage stipend and administrative time are also provided to support your work in the field.
