Exciting per diem opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in home health! In this role, you will complete risk assessments on Medicare Advantage members living throughout Columbia County, serving areas like Magnolia, Waldo, and Taylor. Youll help bridge gaps in patient care, all while enjoying flexible scheduling tailored to your availability.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Self-scheduling to fit your preferences
- Choose minimum weekly or bi-weekly commitments
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive home health risk assessments averaging 45 minutes each
- Review prior and current medical history, existing medical conditions, and medication use
- Educate patients regarding their health conditions and medications
- Identify gaps in patient care and make recommendations for follow-up or resolution
- No requirement for prescribing medication or creating treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner License in Arkansas
- Current CPR (BLS) certification
- Board Certification through AANP or ANCC
- MSN degree from an accredited nursing program
- At least 6 months of current experience as an NP preferred
As part of this position, you will earn between $80 and $90 per evaluation, along with a mileage stipend and compensation for administrative time.
