Job Description

This per diem opportunity is ideal for Nurse Practitioners interested in delivering preventive care in a flexible and dynamic environment. Youll play a vital role in supporting Medicare Advantage plan members, offering expertise and guidance during annual or post-discharge visits.

Schedule:

  • Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
  • Set your own schedule to fit your availability
  • Minimum commitment required per week or bi-weekly

Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho (ID)
  • Current CPR certification (BLS)
  • Board Certification via AANP or ANCC
  • MSN degree from an accredited nursing program
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members in Bonner County (including Sandpoint, Ponderay, and Priest River)
  • Review current and previous medical histories, medical conditions, and medications
  • Educate patients on their health conditions and medication regimens
  • Identify gaps in care and recommend approaches for improvement
  • Note: No medication prescribing or development of treatment plans is required

Compensation for this position is structured with $80-$90 per evaluation, as well as mileage reimbursement and compensation for administrative time.
