Experienced Nurse Practitioners with a passion for home health are needed to perform comprehensive risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members across Jefferson County, AR. This flexible, per diem opportunity empowers you to create your own schedule, picking shifts that work best for your life. You will have the unique responsibility of supporting patients in locations such as Pine Bluff, White Hall, and Redfield, providing vital annual and post-discharge visits that help bridge gaps in care and support overall wellbeing.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Choose your own schedule
- Minimum hourly commitment per week or bi-weekly required
What Youll Do:
- Complete home health risk assessments lasting about 45 minutes per member
- Review and document comprehensive medical, medication, and social histories
- Educate patients regarding their conditions and prescribed medications
- Assess for any gaps in care, offering recommendations when needed
- No treatment planning or prescribing requiredfocus on assessment and education
Candidate Requirements:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas (AR)
- Active Board Certification (AANP or ANCC)
- Up-to-date CPR certification (BLS)
- MSN from an accredited nursing program
- At least 6 months of NP experience preferred
- Reliable transportation to travel within Jefferson County (mileage stipend provided)
You will be compensated at $80$90 per evaluation, plus a mileage stipend and administrative time for documentation.
