Job Description
Deliver compassionate, individualized care as a Nurse Practitioner by performing home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members throughout Le Flore County, OK, including Poteau, Heavener, and Spiro. This per diem position offers the unique opportunity to create your own work schedule with shifts available any day of the week, allowing for maximum flexibility and independence.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Design your own schedule
- Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive home health risk assessments, averaging 45 minutes per visit
- Travel to members homes across designated areas in Le Flore County
- Review and evaluate prior and current medical history, conditions, and medication use
- Educate members about their medical conditions and medications
- Identify gaps in care and recommend actions for improvement
- No need to develop treatment plans or prescribe medications
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma
- Current BLS (CPR) certification
- Board Certified through AANP or ANCC
- Minimum of 6 months of NP experience preferred
- MSN degree from an accredited nursing school
Receive competitive compensation of $80-$90 for each completed evaluation, along with a mileage stipend and pay for administrative time.
