Job Description
Seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to complete home health risk assessments on a per diem basis within Boone County, AR. This flexible opportunity allows healthcare professionals to support Medicare Advantage plan members in Harrison, Diamond City, Bergman, and the surrounding communities. Typical assessments take approximately 45 minutes each, ranging from routine annual health evaluations to post-discharge visits.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Ability to create your own schedule
- Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment required
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members
- Review and evaluate medical history, current health conditions, and medication usage
- Educate patients on their medical conditions and prescribed medications
- Identify care gaps and provide actionable recommendations to resolve them
- No requirement to formulate treatment plans or prescribe medications
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
- Current CPR certification (BLS)
- Board Certification through AANP or ANCC
- Six months or more of current experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
- MSN degree from an accredited nursing program
Compensation for this role is competitive, with each completed evaluation compensated between $80 and $90, in addition to a mileage stipend and administrative time.
