A rewarding opportunity awaits Nurse Practitioners seeking flexible, per diem work conducting home health risk assessments in Jackson County, AR. This role involves visiting Medicare Advantage plan members in their homesserving communities such as Newport, Tuckerman, and Diazto perform thorough, person-centered evaluations. Each assessment averages about 45 minutes and may be an annual health assessment or a post-discharge visit.

Schedule:

  • Flexible shifts available any day, Monday through Sunday
  • Freedom to build your own schedule
  • Satisfy a minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete annual home health risk assessments for a Medicare Advantage health plan
  • Review prior and current medical history, conditions, and medication usage
  • Offer patient education regarding medical conditions and prescribed medications
  • Identify care gaps and provide actionable recommendations for resolution
  • No responsibilities for treatment plan creation or medication prescribing

Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification
  • Board Certification as NP via AANP or ANCC
  • Minimum of six months recent NP experience preferred
  • MSN degree from an accredited nursing program

This per diem role offers compensation of $80$90 per evaluation, along with mileage reimbursement and payment for administrative time.
