This position focuses on conducting risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members within Cocke County, TN, covering areas such as Newport and Parrottsville. Flexible scheduling allows you to create your own hours, with options for shifts between Monday and Sunday and a minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitmentideal for balancing work with other responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct home health risk assessments, typically taking around 45 minutes each
- Evaluate patients medical history, current conditions, and medication usage
- Provide patient education regarding health conditions and prescribed medications
- Identify gaps in care and offer effective recommendations for improvement
- Assessments may include annual evaluations or post-discharge home visits
- Direct patient care does not include developing treatment plans or prescribing medications
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Tennessee
- Valid CPR certification (BLS)
- Board Certification via AANP or ANCC
- MSN from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 6 months of recent Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
Compensation for this opportunity is competitive, with each evaluation earning between $80-$90, plus a mileage stipend and reimbursement for documented administrative time.
