Job Description

Experienced nurse practitioners passionate about patient care will find an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact through in-home health assessments. This per diem role allows you to serve Medicare Advantage plan members throughout Desha County, providing essential care and guidance right in the comfort of patients homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive annual home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members
  • Evaluate prior and current medical history, including conditions and medication use
  • Deliver education regarding medical conditions and medication management to patients
  • Identify and address gaps in care, making recommendations to support health and wellbeing
  • No need to create treatment plans or prescribe medications

Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas (AR)
  • Current CPR certification (BLS)
  • Board Certified through AANP or ANCC
  • Preferably at least 6 months of clinical NP experience
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited university

Enjoy competitive compensation of $80$90 per evaluation, plus a mileage stipend and additional pay for administrative time. The role covers visits in Dumas, McGehee, Arkansas City, and surrounding Desha County areas. Each visit typically takes around 45 minutes, offering supportive care with meaningful face-to-face interactions.
