This per diem Nurse Practitioner role offers the flexibility to create your own schedule, providing essential care without the demands of ongoing case management or prescribing. Each home visit centers on assessing patients medical and medication histories, identifying gaps in care, and equipping individuals with valuable guidance and education.

  • Set minimum weekly or bi-weekly commitments to maintain work-life balance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough annual or post-discharge home health risk assessments
  • Review and evaluate past and current medical history, chronic conditions, and current medications
  • Educate members about their health conditions and medications
  • Identify and communicate care gaps, recommending next steps as appropriate
  • Focus solely on assessmentno need to develop treatment plans or prescribe medications

Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license issued by the state of Arkansas
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Board Certification through AANP or ANCC
  • 6+ months of recent NP experience preferred
  • Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited school

This position is compensated at $80$90 per evaluation, with mileage stipend and administrative time included, ensuring you are rewarded for your expertise and travel.
