Advance your career as a skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in home health by conducting risk assessments within Wythe County. This is a per diem opportunity offering you the flexibility to tailor your own schedule with shifts available any day of the week. Youll support Medicare Advantage plan members by completing thorough health evaluations in their homes, ensuring personalized and attentive care throughout Wytheville, Rural Retreat, and neighboring areas.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Freedom to create your own schedule
- Weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment based on your availability
Responsibilities:
- Complete annual home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members
- Review and evaluate patients current and previous medical history, conditions, and medication usage
- Share educational resources related to medical conditions and medication management
- Identify gaps in healthcare and recommend strategies to address them
- No requirement to create treatment plans or prescribe medications
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
- Board Certification through AANP or ANCC
- Current CPR certification (BLS)
- At least 6 months of recent Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
- MSN degree from an accredited nursing program
Enjoy compensation of $80-$90 per evaluation, along with a mileage stipend and additional compensation for administrative time.
