As a Nurse Practitioner specializing in home health, you will play a pivotal role in improving patient outcomes, all while enjoying the flexibility of per diem work that matches your lifestyle and commitments.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Build your own schedule to fit your needs
- Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive, 45-minute home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members
- Assess medical history, current conditions, and medication usage
- Offer patient education regarding health conditions and medications
- Detect care gaps and offer actionable recommendations to address them
- No requirements for creating treatment plans or prescribing medications
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina
- Board certification from AANP or ANCC
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- At least 6 months of NP experience preferred
Compensation for this opportunity provides $80-$90 per completed evaluation, along with a mileage stipend and payment for administrative time.
