Flexible, per diem opportunity available for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to conduct home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members across White County, AR. Utilize your expertise in patient evaluation while enjoying the autonomy of creating your own schedule. Assignments are in various communities, such as Searcy, Beebe, and Judsonia, with each risk assessment visit typically requiring about 45 minutes. This role is ideal for professionals seeking a balance between impactful clinical work and control over their availability.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts, available any day between Monday and Sunday
- Create your own schedule to suit your availability
- Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete annual home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members in their homes
- Review and evaluate prior/current medical history, existing medical conditions, and medication history
- Educate patients regarding their conditions, medications, and necessary lifestyle adjustments
- Identify gaps in care and offer actionable recommendations for further evaluation or referral
- No requirement to develop treatment plans or prescribe medications
Qualifications:
- Current, active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
- Board certified via AANP or ANCC
- CPR certification (BLS)
- Six months recent NP experience preferred
- Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
