Make an impact on patient care by providing essential assessments as a Nurse Practitioner in a flexible, per diem home health setting. This unique opportunity involves travel within Desha County, engaging with Medicare Advantage plan members in communities such as Dumas, McGehee, and Arkansas City. Each home health risk assessment typically lasts about 45 minutes and may include annual health reviews or post-discharge visits.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Create your own work schedule
- Choose minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitments
Responsibilities:
- Perform annual home health risk assessments on Medicare Advantage members in their homes
- Review and evaluate patients prior and current medical histories, ongoing conditions, and medications
- Provide patients with education related to their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Identify gaps in care and offer actionable recommendations to help improve patient outcomes
- Note: No requirement to develop treatment plans or prescribe medications
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
- Current CPR Certification (BLS)
- Board Certification through AANP or ANCC
- Minimum of 6 months recent Nurse Practitioner experience (preferred)
- MSN from an accredited nursing program
Compensation: Earn between $80$90 per evaluation, with additional mileage stipend and administrative compensation.
