An excellent per diem opportunity awaits for a Nurse Practitioner experienced in home health risk assessments. In this rewarding role, youll work directly with Medicare Advantage members by conducting comprehensive health evaluations in patient homes throughout Desha County, ARserving communities such as Dumas, McGehee, and Arkansas City. Assessments typically take around 45 minutes and may include annual wellness visits or post-discharge reviews. Flexibility is a hallmark of this position, offering control over your schedule and impactful, independent work.

Schedule:

• Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday

• Choose minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitments to suit your lifestyle

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-home health risk assessments for a Medicare Advantage health plan
• Review and evaluate patients prior and current medical histories, conditions, and medication regimens
• Educate patients on their medical conditions, medications, and overall wellness
• Identify care gaps and offer recommendations for resolution
• No requirement to create treatment plans or prescribe medications

Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner License in Arkansas
• Current CPR certification (BLS)
• Board Certification through AANP or ANCC
• At least 6 months of current experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
• MSN degree from an accredited school of nursing

This position offers compensation of $80$90 per completed evaluation, plus a mileage stipend and paid administrative time, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
